On the 26th of October 2006, the World Motor Sport Council released the 2006 Formula 1 Calendar.
The season starts with the Bahrain Grand Prix as the Australian Grand Prix is pushed back to early April due to a conflict with
the Commonwealth Games.
There will be 6 back to back races in 2006. Bahrain-Malaysia, Europe-Spain, Canada-USA, Germany-Hungary, Italy-Belgium and
Japan-China.
There will be the usual 3 week break prior to the San Marino Grand Prix and the Turkish Grand Prix.
