Barrichello wins the race after a superb drive ahead of Juan Pablo
Montoya and Kimi Raikkonen. Michael Schumacher only manages 4th ahead of David Coulthard and Jarno Trulli while Cristiano da Matta and Jenson Button make the top 8. The race was interrupted by 2 safety car conditions one due to a crazy man going on the track. Those conditions caused some confusion and shuffled the order of the cars. 17 cars were classified as finishers. Ferrari, Williams, McLaren, Toyota, BAR, Sauber and Minardi managed to finish both their cars. |

exciting race under changing weather conditions that saw Michael
Schumacher win the race ahead of Rubens Barrichello who started
from the back thanks to the superior Ferrari package and the
brilliant Bridgestone wet tyres. Juan Pablo Montoya managed 3rd despite his inferior wet Michelins. Jacques Villeneuve and Olivier Panis make it a double points finish for BAR with Nick Heidfeld made 6th. Ralf Schumacher had refuelling problems and finished 8th. Kimi Raikkonen retired with an engine problem while Coulthard only managed 10th after saying out on dry tyres for a few very wet laps!. 12 cars were classified as finishers. Ferrari, BAR, Sauber and Williams managed to finish both their cars. Arrows, Toyota and Minardi (Yoong failed to qualify) failed to finish either of their cars. |
