On the 4th of December 2013, the World Motor
Sport Council confirmed the 2014 Formula 1 Calendar. There will be 19 F1 races
in 2014 with Russia and Austria added and Korea and India dropped. New Jersey
and Mexico appeared on the provisional calendar but didn't make it in the
confirmed one. The first race of 2014
is in Australia on the 16th of March while the final race of 2014 is in Abu
Dhabi
on the 23rd of November.
There will be 4 back to back
races: Malaysia - Bahrain,
Germany - Hungary, Japan - Russia and USA - Brazil.
Earlier, on the 27th of September 2013, the World Motor
Sport Council published the provisional 2014 Formula 1 Calendar with 22
races on the calendar including Jersey, Russia and
Mexico and the return of the Austrian Grand Prix.
Jersey and Mexico are provisional subject to circuit
approval. Korea is also provisional
