Schumacher wins after starting from 3rd. He gets ahead of Ralf
Schumacher via the pits. Juan Pablo Montoya finished 3rd after
recovering from a spin early in the race. Fernando Alonso finished 4th despite the underpowered Renault. Rubens Barrichello only manages 5th after damaging his front wing at the start. Kimi Raikkonen starting from the back finishes in 6th! 11 cars were classified as finishers. The first 6 finished on the same lap. Ferrari, Williams, Jaguar and Toyota had both of their cars classified at the end of the race. Sauber, Jordan and BAR failed to finish either of their cars. |

Schumacher wins the race after the threat of Montoya faded away
when he retired with a blown engine. David Coulthard finished
second passing his team-mate via the pits. Rubens Barrichello went for a 2 stopper and finished 3rd while Kimi Raikkonen took 4th ahead of Giancarlo Fisichella and Jarno Trulli. Ralf Schumacher only managed 7th after problems with refuelling. Montoya's pass on both Ralf and Raikkonen was superb and worth a mention 15 cars were classified as finishers. The first 7 finished on the same lap. Ferrari, McLaren, Jordan, Renault, Sauber and Minardi had both of their cars classified at the end of the race. Jaguar failed to finish either of their cars. |
