1.	Michael Schumacher - Ferrari	A weather affected race meant an unusual result! Michael Schumacher nearly clinches the championship (Indy last year was the penultimate round). Kimi Raikkonen kept his chances alive by finishing 2nd. Juan Pablo Montoya clashed with Barrichello trying to make up places. He was penalised for it and his championship hopes evaporated. 11 cars crossed the finish line. Sauber and Minardi managed to finish both their cars. BAR failed to finish either of their cars.

1.	Rubens Barrichello - Ferrari	Rubens Barrichello wins the race as Michael Schumacher slow down and tries a 'photo finish'! Coulthard finishes 3rd ahead of Montoya who was hit by Ralf Schumacher at the start of the race. Jarno Trulli managed to finish 5th ahead of Jacques Villeneuve. Ralf Schumacher finished 16th and 2 laps behind while Kimi Raikkonen retired with a blown engine. 16 cars crossed the finish line. Ferrari, Williams, Renault, BAR, Jaguar, Sauber and Toyota managed to finish both their cars. Minardi failed to finish either of their cars.
