Schumacher wins the race after having a superb starting from 3rd
and leading from the first corner till the end of the race. His
1st win in 70 attempts. David Coulthard drove yet another consistent race and finishes in 2nd as he couldn't match the pace of the Williams. He has finished on the podium in every race this season so far. Rubens Barrichello finishes 3rd after passing Mika Hakkinen and Jarno Trulli through the pits. Michael Schumacher retired after suffering a number of problems with his car while Juan Pablo Montoya retired with a clutch problem. Only 12 cars finish the race with McLaren and Jordan, they only teams to finish both cars. Minardi were the only team that failed to finish either of their cars |

Schumacher wins the race after passing Mika Hakkinen through the
pits. David Coulthard finishes third after passing Rubens Barrichello in the pits as well. Very few overtaking and faster cars were stuck behind slower ones. Both Williams' retire with engine problems. 15 cars finish the race with Ferrari, McLaren, BAR, Sauber, Jaguar and Benetton finishing both of their cars. Both Williams and Prost fail to finish either of their cars |
