Second Saturday Practice Session Report - ResultsDavid Coulthard managed to set the fastest time of the 4th and final practice session for the Hungarian Grand Prix just 0.2 seconds ahead of Michael Schumacher. Rubens Barrichello was 3rd and an impressive Nick Heidfeld was 4th ahead of Mika Hakkinen and Jarno Trulli. Michael Schumacher failed to improve on his best time from the first session today after making a mistakes on 2 of his flying laps. His brother Ralf Schumacher suffered a spin and ended up stuck in the gravel. Despite that he ended up 7th fastest. Expect these two to do well in qualifying. Mika Hakkinen was another one of those who didn't improve their times from the first session and ended up 5th overall. Other drivers to have trouble were Verstappen who failed to complete a single lap and Jenson Button who only went out with less than 10 minutes to go but in the end managed 13th fastest. Luciano Burti covered the most number of laps with 19 and that seemed to work for him as he moved up into 18th place from 21st in the first session today. Olivier Panis covered 18 laps while Jacques Villeneuve and Giancarlo Fisichella covered 17 laps each. Jos Verstappen failed to cover any laps while Ralf Schumacher only managed 4 laps before his spin and David Coulthard only did 5 laps trying to save his tyres for Qualifying and the Race. All other drivers covered between 7 and 16 laps each. Overall for both sessions, Burti, Panis, de la Rosa and Alonso each covered 30 laps while Jos Verstappen only managed 9 laps and Jenson Button only 13 laps. The Michelin runners have certainly improved over the first session today with 4 runners in the top 10. Despite the fact that the Williams doesn't seem to be suited to this kind of track, with the help of Michelin, we could see Ralf or Montoya inside the top 5. The fight for Pole however appears set to be between Michael's Ferrari and the 2 McLarens. Barrichello will also be in the top 4. Behind them expect an intense fight between Williams, Sauber and Jordan. BAR, Jaguar and Benetton could also come up with a few surprises. It will be very close in the midfield. Qualifying starts at 1:00 PM local time. Go to the Live Update page for live coverage during Qualifying.
