Second Saturday Practice Session Report - ResultsMichael Schumacher sets the fastest time of the session ahead of Juan Pablo Montoya and Jarno Trulli. Rubens Barrichello, David Coulthard and Ralf Schumacher make the top 6. The session did have much more activity than the first session today with the drivers preparing for the Qualifying session this afternoon. As soon as the session started a number of cars went out from the top teams and with just over 5 minutes into the session it was Ralf Schumacher at the top of the timesheets. A few minutes later Montoya topped the times. Rubens Barrichello then tops the time and Michael Schumacher in second but with just over 10 minutes left, Michael Schumacher went fastest with a stunning time of 1:23.178 which no one could match until the end of the session. The Minardi team who struggle to qualify within the 107% rule had one of their worst days this season with neither of their drivers managing to clock a single timed lap in both sessions. They go into qualifying virtually no data from today!. Jean Alesi suffered what appeared to be a gearbox problem limiting his running to 8 laps in the second session. Olivier Panis and Pedro de la Rosa both
covered the most number of laps this session with 19 laps each. The session was run under sunny skies and a temperature of 16 degrees. Qualifying starts at 1:00 PM local time. Go to the Live Update page for live coverage during Qualifying.
