43 min: Panis and Villeneuve move into 2nd and 3rd!. Irvine moves into 5th.

42 min: Montoya and Trulli on the track as well.

41 min: Raikkonen improves in 1st with a time of 1:28.626. Panis and Villeneuve move into 5th and 6th places.

40 min: Irvine, de la Rosa and Yoong follow. Now there is a lot of traffic!

40 min: Villeneuve, Fisichella, Panis and Barrichello start their 1st flying laps of the session.

39 min: Raikkonen goes fastest with a time of 1:29.015. This seems a battle between the 2 Sauber drivers!

38 min: Verstappen takes second from Raikkonen while Enge moves into 4th place.

37 min: Raikkonen improves but remains in second with a time of 1:29.962.

36 min: Nick Heidfeld improves in 1st with a time of 1:29.048. A few more drivers are appearing on the track!

35 min: Jos Verstappen takes 3rd with a time of 1:32.132.

34 min: And Heidfeld goes faster again with a time of 1:30.092. Tomas Enge makes an appearance.

33 min: Only for Raikkonen to go faster with a time of 1:30.669

32 min: Nick Heidfeld goes to the top of the timesheets with a time of 1:30.884.

31 min: Jos Verstappen now comes out on the track with under 15 minutes left.

29 min: Frentzen stops on the track with brake problems!

28 min: Top 4: Raikkonen, Frentzen, Heidfeld and Bernoldi. No other driver has set a timed lap!

26 min: Frentzen moves into second place with a time of 1:32.214.

25 min: Frentzen improves his time but remains in 3rd place.

24 min: This is amazing, over half the session has passed and only 4 drivers have set laps times!

21 min: Heinz Harald Frentzen sets a time of 1:37.393 and moves into 3rd place.

18 min: Heinz Harald Frentzen goes out on the track.

17 min: Very little activity on the track as the teams are waiting for others to dry the track!

15 min: Nick Heidfeld improves but remains in second place.

14 min: Kimi Raikkonen goes fastest with a time of 1:32.019.

13 min: Ralf pits without setting a time.

12 min: Nick Heidfeld clocks a 1:33.551. The track is still damp from overnight rain but is drying quickly.

11 min: Ralf Schumacher and Kimi Raikkonen follow.

10 min: Nick Heidfeld now appears on the track for his first flying run. He lost most of the first session and all of the second session yesterday.

8 min: Bernoldi sets a time of 1:37.729. He has made a mistake on his flying lap.

6 min: Enrique Bernoldi is on the track for his first timed lap.

4 min: Michael Schumacher is on the track for his installation lap

2 min: A number of cars are now back in the pits. Jaguar have a black engine cover in respect to the victims of the tragedy in the USA.
