Download the NewsOnF1.com | Williams, Ferrari, Ferrari, Williams. That's how they
finished last years real race and my head says that that's how they'll finish
on Saturday. Me, I still have painful memories of predicting JPM against Schumacher (the one with the red uniform, not the one with the red face) at Spa two weeks ago. Therefore, I'll go against the logic and put MS on pole with Barrichello, who knows and likes the circuit better than anyone who isn't in a red car a very close second. Montoya will sit in third with Ralf right behind him. Coulthard and Raikkonen will not challenge here, the Mercedes not being able to match it with the front runners but it should comfortably cushion them from the interesting grouping just behind. Renault, Jaguar and Toyota will provide some interesting position juggling, with tyres providing the differentiators. My old mate Alex Yoong is back in the saddle and he will qualify here in 20th. It would be a couple of places further back if it weren't for the Arrows no-show (I'm assuming at this stage they won't front either here or anywhere else this season). Mark will be well adrift of the Honda cars and very comfortably ahead of Alex. At least he will keep his perfect scorecard intact. There are a few drivers who will be looking to put in a big effort to keep (or find new) seats. Massa will prevail, de la Rosa, Panis and McNish won't. Coulthard is due for one more victory before he gives up and accepts that Kimi is quicker and Barrichello could match Michael on this track. Monza 2002 will, I believe, be a Tifosi triumph.
