Download the NewsOnF1.com | Ferrari First, Ferrari Second, Daylight Third. No, perhaps on Sunday but not this time in qualifying. Spa is a circuit that favours the (qualifying) power of BMW and the Williams cars will fill the front row after Saturday. The question is, will JPM regain his pole winning form or will Ralf finally get a chance up front? I suspect Ralf will again be the bridesmaid, Montoya will bounce back and take yet another real race podium. The two red cars will comfortably slot into 3rd and 4th and the McLarens should round out the six. Kimi will again get the better of David and Fisichella will give the Renaults a hurry up, probably ending beside Trulli on row 4. Massa needs to (and should) put in a very convincing performance if he hopes to capture a seat next year, he's at least as quick as Nick Heidfeld but not very consistent. Minardi now have two real drivers, damn shame they don't have two real engines. They will both qualify but the lack of horsepower will see them right at the tail of the field. Davidson won't outqualify Webber, but at least he will make him push for a competitive time. Alex Yoong should enjoy the experience of watching competent drivers in the black cars (from the pits of course) knowing that he never could have qualified on this very fast power circuit and that he is odds on to DNQ again at least once more before he disappears into oblivion. Toyotas and the BARs will fill in the gaps. Arrows probably won't front but if they do they will be battling with the Jaguars at the back of the pack. All this of course assumes fine weather. If Spa turns on a wet day then the usual suspects will come to the fore. Bridgestone runners will suddenly look real good, with a red front row and the boys who like to play in puddles way out of position. Want to submit any comments you have on this section ?
