Championship Second Friday Practice Session Report - ResultsDavid Coulthard dominates the session setting a time that is a full second ahead of Jarno Trulli. Michael Schumacher was third ahead of Juan Pablo Montoya, Mika Hakkinen and Ralf Schumacher. Rubens Barrichello, Heinz Harald Frentzen, Nick Heidfeld and Eddie Irvine make the top 6. Even though Coulthard is a second ahead, that is probably due to the different programmes the teams are running but interestingly though, he was the only driver to better the best time set during the second practice on Friday of last year. Whatever the situation is, all will be cleared up in qualifying tomorrow. There were several incidents during this session. Barrichello spun and stalled but later indicated that it was due to an engine problem. Ralf Schumacher went out after losing all of the first session only to spin on his fast lap. He returned to the pits losing more time but he eventually covered 19 laps and was 6th fastest. Heinz Harald Frentzen stopped on the track ending his session due to a mechanical problem while Giancarlo Fisichella stopped his car in the pit lane and lucky for him managed to return to the track. In the final minute, David Coulthard spun but managed to recover. During this session, Michael Schumacher and Luciano Burti covered the most number of laps with 25 with Juan Pablo Montoya and Giancarlo Fisichella covered 24 laps each. Rubens Barrichello covered the least number of laps with 7 followed by Jenson Button with 9. Jos Verstappen had limited track time as well only managing 14 laps. Most other drivers covered between 16 and 22 laps. It looks like we'll have a very interesting Saturday - Stay tuned
