12 October: The British
Grand Prix
at Silverstone is expected to appear on the 2005 Formula 1 Calendar as
provisional following successful negotiations between the BRDC and Bernie
Ecclestone. Whilst no contract has been signed, it does appear that the
British GP will make it on the calendar. The 2005 Formula 1 Schedule is expected to be announced tomorrow by the FIA. The French and San Marino events are also expected to be included on a provisional basis. The Turkish Grand Prix is expected to be the latest addition to the calendar. FIA President Max Mosley is also hopeful that an
agreement can be reached. Speaking to the BBC he said "I hope and think
in the end a solution will be found and it (the British Grand Prix) will be on
