Michael Schumacher won the 8th race of the season ahead of David Coulthard and Rubens Barrichello.

Ferrari have proven that even in Canada where Williams were expected to be dominant, they took the fight to Williams and beat them.
Michael Schumacher drove the perfect race while Barrichello showed once again why he is a number 2.
Williams pushing their engines too much perhaps ? With 2 failures (yes Ralf's engine failed just at the end of the race), Williams seem to be compromising reliability for performance.
Montoya set the fastest lap of the race and managed to pull an amazing move on both Ralf Schumacher and Kimi Raikkonen, his engine failure robbed us of an exciting finish.
Ralf Schumacher won the race last year but failed to finish in the points. Sure his pit stop ruined his race but being stuck behind Raikkonen for half the race ? While your team-mate passes both of you together ?
McLaren getting a boost ? In the race they moved from the midfield to join the top runners!. Coulthard finished second ahead of a Ferrari ? Kimi Raikkonen finally finished a race for the first time since Australia!.
Jordan seem to have sorted a few things out with Giancarlo Fisichella's 3rd 5th place finish in a row while BAR seem to be improving slowly but not enough for points.

What others are saying:

Hi, It's great for Michael to win in Canada. It proves his dominance over this year is not just a fluke as a lot of people have been saying.
I felt very sorry for Montoya, I don't understand how he can be so unlucky in F1, whereas in Cart he was winning everything left right and centre. Well, he was pushing very very hard and on such a demanding circuit I guess something has to go. We all wish him better luck in Germany.
It seems a lots of the races this year have been very one sided, not even the race in Monte Carlo was exiting. Hope the Next race in Germany will be one filled with a lot of overtaking - Madhu D - India

Only one thing to say. Alex Yoong needs to retire and move on and play f1 on playstation - Steve - USA

Definitely McLaren is getting stronger, faster , reliable and closer and BMW has to work a little bit more on the performance and the reliability of the engine which is hailed as the ultra fast and reliable. And Ferrari still have not shown the full speed to us (I believe under similar conditions they are faster than BMW)
Highlight of the race is the spectacular overtakings by Rubens and then by Juan. Wondering why Patrick Head Juan would've won, Michael had total control of the race. He was speeding when necessary and tried to save the car when required. On a different strategy Michael was just 0.11 seconds slower than the fastest Lap - GOP - NL

Com'on! Nobody has anything to say? Is the championship already decided?
It was a pity that we lost the chance to verify if Ferrari would take the same decision taken in Austria. There was no need for the pace car to come in and Rubens was building a gap that would take him safely to 2nd place.
Congratulations to MS, the most brilliant (and lucky) pilot since Senna - Andre B - Brazil
