I agree with your comments about Ferrari knowing well before the weekend's race, if not the season, that Barrichello would be ordered to let Schumacher pass if the pair were in a 1-2 position respectively. I feel comments made this week by Todt and Brawn were unfair to Barrichello. They continually ramble on about the team as a whole being the most important thing and that Barrichello only has 12 points after the Austrian round. The reason Barrichello is in his current position is BECAUSE of the so call team they are referring to. How is Barrichello expected to compete on an equal footing when Schumacher is competing in the 2002 car before him? When for some mysterious reason, call it luck, Barrichello has had mechanical failures for the majority of races this year? I don't think they quite understand the definition of the word team. If they worked as a team both drivers would be in similar positions in the drivers championship instead of Barrichello languishing (for him anyway!) in fourth position. Whenever Barrichello has had reliable machinery this year he has equalled, and in some cases bettered, his favoured team mate. I don't blame Schumacher. Oh yes, team orders come from the top and Barrichello has little option but to step in line if he wants to drive for Ferrari. He has come to terms with it and it does reflect in his driving, which is better and more consistent than last season..
