Every article on the huge points gap that Scheuy and Ferrari had over MH, DC and McLaren, no writer has yet mentioned the fact the gap has got smaller because MS did not score a single point in 4 races ... does this not make a difference, because I don't think it just McLaren getting quicker and reliable ? Do I have a point here or not ??!!!?? Nicky The Heretic replies, You have a point - Schumacher had a real chance this year which he lost while not scoring any points for 4 races. Had he scored points in all of those races he would be in a very dominant position. However, over that same period McLaren seem to get faster and better while Ferrari is showing little improvement. I don't like his chances now Nicky replies, Thank you for taking the time to respond. As much as I want to disagree with you, if Ferrari don't improve the performance of the car, Schuey's chances of winning the title are very slim; but one never knows the game is not over until its over !!!!?? I hope he does win it this year for himself the fans and Ferrari. He has been unlucky for the past 2 years - 1999 he had a good lead but after the Silverstone crash it was all over, and had that controversial incident with DC in Spa in 1998 (water logged circuit) not occurred, we would have seen him win the title... DC was at fault; he was being lapped by MS and did not move out of the racing line to let him pass! I will never forgive him for that. B A D BOY! Keeping fingers crossed for MS and Ferrari Nicky Back to Top |
