44 Min: The rain returns.

43 Min: Although the track seems to be drying it will not be soon enough to make a difference. there are only two or three minutes left.

42 Min: Heidfeld seems to have problems with his car - he is slowing. This is after he has just posted a fast lap putting him in 7th. Maybe he has just had enough.

40 Min: Heidfeld out. M Schumacher is out on dry tyres, some 3 seconds off his earlier pace. He is struggling to keep the car on the track.

38 Min: Still no real action and time is running out - only 7 minutes to go.

37 Min: Button out on the track

35 Min: Seems to be more activity in pit lane than on the track.

32 Min: So far an inconclusive session. Very few cars are trying hard. The threat of wrecking a car and not being able to repair it in time for the qualifying session is just too big.

30 Min: Villeneuve out on track

29 Min: McNish is out. we may be able to see hoe the Toyota fares in the wet.

28 Min: Rain is easing - but the track is still not dry.

26 Min: Rain has set in. Some cars will be coming out to check wet setup but we will obviously not see any improvement on times.

24 Min: Barrichello finished a fast lap but still not enough to beat his teammate. order is: M Schumacher, Barrichello, Montoya, R Schumacher, Coulthard, Raikkonen.

23 Min: Rain is getting heavier. Most cars are heading back into the pits.

21 Min: Panis stalled at the end of pit lane so he will not do much before qualifying.

20 Min: The teams are now setting up for the qualifying session. There is a lot of activity in the pits but few drivers seem to be trying to get a fast lap.

18 Min: Some rain on the track

12 Min: Clouds are moving in again - Montoya is on a flier.

10 Min: Montoya is out.

8 Min: They seem to be taking it easy. Not one of the cars appears to be really trying just yet.

4 Min: Salo and Fisichella out. Very few cars circulating
