33 min: Jacques Villeneuve returns to the top 10 with a 1:15.131 in 8th place.

28 min: Montoya starts a flying lap. 

26 min: With just over 15 minutes to go, the teams are now preparing for their final run in preparation for Qualifying. The track temperature has gone up to 36 degrees! 

25 min: Eddie Irvine is finally putting a few laps but he remains in 21st place. 

24 min: Kimi Raikkonen improves but remains in 3rd with a time of 1:13.882. 

23 min: Kimi Raikkonen on a flyer. 

22 min: Top 10: R Schumacher, M Schumacher, Raikkonen, Barrichello, Coulthard, Montoya, Button, Heidfeld, Fisichella and Massa. 

21 min: Jacques Villeneuve spins but recovers. The drivers are now starting to push are they prepare for that perfect lap.

20 min: Juan Pablo Montoya improves but remains in 6th with a time of 1:14.549

19 min: Irvine seems to be having problems with his car, he has covered just 8 laps so far today. The least of all the drivers.

18 min: Pedro de la Rosa takes 12th from Panis. Irvine is currently in 21st!

17 min: Olivier Panis improves to 12th just behind his team-mate.

16 min: Takuma Sato spins again, this time he hits the barrier and loses his front wing. Session over for him too!

15 min: Heinz Harald Frentzen stalls at the pit exit. Session over for him.

14 min: Ralf Schumacher completes another flyer under the 1:14 mark but slower than his best time. 

12 min: Mark Webber moves into 18th ahead of the 2 Jaguars and McNish! 

10 min: Top 10: R Schumacher, M Schumacher, Raikkonen, Barrichello, Coulthard, Montoya, Button, Heidfeld, Fisichella and Massa. 

10 min: Michael Schumacher is now on the track too!. 

9 min: Rubens Barrichello appears as well. Michael Schumacher has yet to go out this session.

8 min: Juan Pablo Montoya is on the track. He is currently in 6th place.

7 min: David Coulthard improves but remains in 5th with a time of 1:14.285.

4 min: Ralf Schumacher moves to the top of the timesheets with a time of 1:13.69, that is faster than Pole time last year. Montoya ready to get on the track.

3 min: Ralf Schumacher starts a flyer.

2 min: Ralf Schumacher takes to the track and so does Button and Heidfeld.

1 min: Mika Salo is the first out on the track. He is followed by Giancarlo Fisichella. The Jordan Honda seems slower than the BAR Honda here.
