60 min: Final lap .... Pedro de la Rosa moves into 7th with a time of 1:48.902. Villeneuve moves into 13th and is the best Bridgestone runner behind the Ferraris!

59 min: Eddie Irvine moves into 8th with a time of 1:49.222. 

59 min: Montoya loses a lot of time in the 3rd sector but still improves his time with a 1:48.969. Still in 7th. 

58 min: Montoya on a fast lap. 

57 min: At this stage, the top 3 are very close while Barrichello and Ralf in 4th and 5th are over a second behind. 

56 min: The 2 Williams are on the track. Ralf is currently in 5th while Montoya is in 7th. 

55 min: Apart from the 2 Ferraris, all the top 10 cars are on Michelin tyres! 

54 min: Barrichello goes off and is stuck in the gravel. Session over for him! 

53 min: Top 10 - Raikkonen, Coulthard, M Schumacher, Barrichello, R Schumacher, Button, Montoya, Salo, McNish and Trulli. 

52 min: Villeneuve moves into 14th and Panis into 15th.

50 min: Michael Schumacher back on the track trying to improve on his time! 

49 min: Nick Heidfeld improves his time in 18th. He is sandwiched between the 2 Minardis! 

48 min: Ralf Schumacher moves into 5th with a time of 1:48.435. Trulli moves into 10th with a 1:49.603. 

47 min: Pedro de la Rosa has a problem with his car and is stopped on the entry to the pit lane. Session over for him. He is currently 13th fastest. 

46 min: Mika Salo takes 8th from his team-mate. The Toyota is looking good this weekend so far! 

46 min: McLaren are definitely enjoying themselves today with Raikkonen now taking the top spot from Coulthard with a time of 1:47.196 

45 min: And Juan Pablo Montoya finally moves into the top 10 with a time of 1:48.985 in 7th! 

44 min: Takuma Sato blows the second Honda engine this weekend. His session is over. Montoya meanwhile is on a fast lap! 

43 min: Given that the McLarens are ahead of the Ferrari's, it appears that Michelin have the better tyre here. Montoya though continues to struggle and he is down in 18th place and over 4.5 seconds off the pace. 

42 min: Jacques Villeneuve finally moves up into 15th ahead of Davidson in the Minardi. Panis has finally come out onto the track. 

41 min: Top 10 - Coulthard, Raikkonen, M Schumacher, Barrichello, Button, R Schumacher, McNish, Salo, Fisichella and Sato. 

40 min: And Allan McNish moves into 7th with a time of 1:49.560. 

39 min: Giancarlo Fisichella moves into 8th with a time of 1:50.144.  

38 min: Jenson Button moves into 5th with a time of 1:48.778 and Anthony Davidson jumps into 13th with a time of 1:51.270! 

37 min: Coutlhard takes the top spot from his team-mate with a time of 1:47.356 while Michael Schumacher moves into 3rd with a time of 1:47.771 

36 min: Both Coulthard and Michael Schumacher are on the track. 

35 min: Mark Webber has a problem and is parked on the side of the track. End of the session for him. He is currently in 17th place. 

34 min: Neither of the BAR drivers have come out this session. They are back in 18th and 19th at this stage. It looks like Villeneuve is finally preparing to go back out. 

33 min: Top 10 - Raikkonen, Coulthard, Barrichello, R Schumacher, M Schumacher, Salo, Sato, de la Rosa, Trulli and Fisichella. 

32 min: And Raikkonen moves into the top spot with a time of 1:47.404. A stunning turnaround by the McLarens who appear to be dominant now! 

31 min: Kimi Raikkonen is on a fast lap! 

30 min: Rubens Barrichello narrows the gap to Coulthard with a 1:48.321. Montoya goes off and just manages to keep it away from the barrier. He continues struggle with his car!  

29 min: Pedro de la Rosa moves into 7th with a time of 1:50.400. 

28 min: Barrichello on the track trying to respond to Coulthard's time. He is over 0.8 seconds behind. 

27 min: David Coulthard was on an even faster lap but decided to pit! 

26 min: Top 10 - Coulthard, Barrichello, R Schumacher, Raikkonen, M Schumacher, Sato, Salo, de la Rosa, Trulli and Fisichella. 

25 min: And Ralf Schumacher moves into 3rd with a time of 1:48.859. This is getting exciting! 

24 min: Felipe Massa moves into 12th with a time of 1:51.304. Ralf Schumacher on a flyer! 

23 min: At this stage it looks as if Ferrari have a battle on their hands not from Williams though but from McLaren! 

22 min: Takuma Sato moves into 5th with a time of 1:50.357 

21 min: And David Coulthard goes fastest with a time of 1:47.717. That is a stunning time if it is n a heavy fuel load! 

20 min: Allan McNish moves into 13th with a time of 1:51.695. 

19 min: Coulthard is back on the track. He is currently in 4th. 

18 min: It certainly looks that Michelin have a better tyre under the current conditions with 7 out of the top 10 on Michelin. Sauber and BAR are particularly struggling here. 

17 min: Kimi Raikkonen continues to impress as he moves into second with a time of 1:48.962. 

16 min: BAR are having a terrible start to the weekend so far with Villeneuve in 18th and Panis in 19th and both struggling with car problems. They are only ahead of Davidson!

15 min: Kimi Raikkonen takes 3rd from his team-mate with a time of 1:49.370.

14 min: Rubens Barrichello takes the top spot from his team-mate with a time of 1:48.527

13 min: Pedro de la Rosa who struggled in the first session moves into 5th with a time of 1:50.643.

12 min: And he moves into 14th with a time of 1:51.872. He made a mistake at the Bus stop.

11 min: Juan Pablo Montoya back on the track!

2 min: No news on the Arrows situation at this stage. The did not take part in the first session and it doesn't appear that they will take part in this session.

1 min: Takuma Sato and Mika Salo are the first to go out onto the track

The first session was cut down to half an hour due to fog but despite that Ferrari still look dominant here with both Rubens Barrichello and Michael Schumacher over a second faster than anyone else! ... Session starting in 5 minutes.
